Cast Art Glass Enclosures
The Shower Shop would like to introduce you to our new line of ultra premium art glass shower enclosures. The three dimensional character of art glass provides a beautifully stunning alternative to the premium heavy glass units more commonly available. Now, for the first time, your shower enclosure can be the gem of your bathroom.
We have many stock patterns from which to choose, but there is no limit to the design opportunities. You can give us a drawing of your own design or offer your ideas and have our artists design a custom pattern for you. Let your imagination run wild. Do you want your shower enclosure to reflect your hobby, your family, your favorite place in the world? All these are possible with Art Glass. Possibly you are looking to buy premium shower enclosures for a hotel. Why not let us put your logo in each door? The glass is fabricated to accommodate Cardinal heavy glass hinges, clips, pulls and towel bars.
Now, truly, you can Dare to Imagine the Shower of Your Life!
Fred diFrenzi has been a pioneer in the field of kiln formed glass since 1984. His inclusion of ‘Code Red,’ an enameled and slumped Vitrolite nonrepresentational glass sculpture into New Glass Review (an international art glass competition sponsored by the Corning Museum of Glass) signaled a beginning in what would be an evolving journey transforming ordinary sheet glass into remarkable artistic statements.
Fred also enjoys the challenge of bringing his specialized processes and artistic temperament to a manufacturing setting. He has helped establish artistic directions for several companies, integrating art glass into their mix of product offerings. He helped substantiate the art glass vessel as a design icon for bathroom accessories with a well established supplier to the trade more than a dozen years ago. He still jokes about seeing his bathroom vanity designs now copied by the Chinese in the Lowe's showrooms at 25% of the cost he was familiar with.
You can find many of Fred's glass sculptures in several fine art museums and numerous public and private collections across the country. He has received numerous awards, including a nomination for a National Service to the Arts for work included in Indianapolis State Museum. 25 years of experience working with kiln formed glass has given diFrenzi a robust collection of experiences and a vast knowledge of materials and techniques. He incorporates his ideas into finished designs for art glass for residential and corporate environments.
